Setting up a account

If this is your first time shopping at you will need to set up a new account. All customers require an account to purchase.

It only takes a couple of minutes and once registered you can start shopping straight away and it will save you time when you order in the future.

  • Select the Register button located in the top right hand corner of the page
  • You will be asked to choose a username & password and delivery address details.
  • Northern Lighting customers have various functions available which can be accessed through your account page and set up
  • Once you have set up your account you will be required to log in before you can go shopping.
  • You will receive a confirmation email that your account has been successfully set up.
  • Every time you place an online order in the future, just enter your username and password into the Login section and you are ready to order.
  • Please note: All information provided by customers is stored on our secure server and only used to enhance your shopping experience

How To Shop

Imagine as you search for a product that you are carrying a shopping cart in which you can place the products you'd like to buy. When you find a product you like, click on the 'Add to Cart' button and that product will be placed in your Shopping Cart. At any time you can click on the shopping cart button located in the top right hand corner of the page and it will take you directly to the shopping cart page.

What if I change my mind?
After you click 'Add to Cart', your Shopping Cart Contents will be displayed. On this page you can:

  • Change the quantity of the product(s) in your Cart
  • View the product(s) you have chosen
  • Take the product(s) out of your Cart by clicking on 'Remove' and then 'Update cart'
  • Click 'Continue' to choose more products and add them to your Shopping Cart.

What happens when I've finished shopping?
When you've finished choosing, click the Checkout' button underneath your Shopping Cart Contents. You will then be asked to confirm your delivery address, select a payment option and then confirm your order. (Click here to see payment options)

Receipt & order confirmation.
At the end of the payment process you will be presented with a confirmation screen containing your order number. This page can be printed for your reference. You will also be sent an email confirming this order number as soon as your order has been finalised.

Before you proceed to the payment process, you may be given a security message by your Internet browser. This is to advise you that the payment process is secure, and cannot be viewed by anybody else. Click OK to Continue.

Delivery locations & delivery costs

Once you have selected your products, it's time to tell us where you want them sent. Your account address will be automatically saved in the delivery details section for you to select. However, if you are sending to an alternative address you just need to enter the new address and you can also save that address for future reference.

We believe that we have aligned ourselves with excellent delivery partners, but there may be times when, despite their best efforts, parcels are delayed in the delivery process. We will always endeavour to work with our delivery partners to ensure prompt arrival of your products.

Despatch times & product availability

Not all products are kept in our fulfilment centre, so certain items cannot be despatched the day they are ordered. Please note that despatch times are estimated and are subject to change and begin once the order has been paid for in full.

If a product is not in stock despatch times may differ on various products. Estimated turnaround depends on the supplier's performance and reliability.

Please note does not Refund or Exchange goods unless they are faulty or damaged.

Whilst we take great care to ensure that your items arrive safely, sometime breakages do occur during transit. Please check your items carefully and report any damaged goods to us within 14 days of receipt. will not be held liable for breakages that are not reported to us within 14 days of receipt. 

Making a Return

If you want to return a product to us for a refund or exchange because it is faulty or damaged, you can do so through Australia Post. Please contact our customer service consultants by emailing or by calling 02 9905 1698 if you wish to do so.


To process a refund, Northern Lighting will:

  • Credit your credit card

The amount refunded will depend on the reason for the return. If you have received:

  • A damaged product or the wrong product, we will be happy to refund both the product and delivery costs
  • For a change of mind or no longer required items, we will charge 25% restocking fee. Under conditions of goods must be in the original conditions and never been installed.
